Fr. Tenson Paul
Fr. Tenson was born at Kattoor, in the Syro-Malabar Eparchy of Irinjalakuda, Kerala, a southern state in India. He finished high school at Pompei St Mary’s High School, Kattoor.
After his school studies, he joined St. Mary’s Minor Seminary, Kallepully of the Eparchy of Palakkad, Kerala. He had his Philosophy studies at St. Thomas Apostolic Seminary at Vadavathoor, Kottayam, Kerala. After his Philosophy Studies, he had his Theology and Licentiate from the Holy Cross University in Rome. On 4th October 2003, he was ordained to be a priest by His. Excellency Mar Jacob Manathodath, the Bishop of Palakkad. He had pastoral duties in the Minor Seminary of the Diocese, in various parishes, and the technical institute of the Diocese for 13 years.
He served the St Alphonsa Syro- Malabar Cathedral, Mississauga, since June 2016. He was sent to Rome for his higher studies in 2017. He finished his licentiate studies in Oriental Canon law and is currently the Chancellor of Syro – Malabar Eparchy of Mississauga and the Pastor of the St. Joseph Syro-Malabar Catholic Church.
